What age is it suitable for?
Baby yoga is suitable for infants aged from 6 weeks to crawling. After this children begin to lose interest and become too wriggly. They often then pick it up again as toddlers, We can't give an upper age limit as each child develops at a different rate. You know your child best but feel free to ask if you're unsure.
Can dads do it too?
Of course! So can grandma, big brother or auntie. Baby yoga provides fitness benefits for the adult as well as the baby and creates a strong bond between each pair. It is also possible for up to 2 people to come with each baby, just let us know at time of booking so we know numbers. Older children are also welcome to watch.
What do I need to wear or bring?
Please wear loose comfortable clothing and dress your baby similarly. We find that a romper or sleepsuit is often most comfortable for baby. Please bring a large towel or yoga mat, a drink for yourself and baby and everything your baby normally needs such as dummies, nappies and snacks. Babies are often hungry and tired after a session.
Is it suitable for premature babies or those with special needs?
Yes, you work at the pace and level of development for your individual child, but please contact us if you're worried.
How much does it cost?
A session lasts for 45 minutes and each course is taught in a block of 6 weeks. The cost for this is £45. If you want to join midway through a course, that is fine as long as we have spaces. There is also a sibling discount available, but please remember there needs to be at least 1 adult per baby. Please contact us for details.
